Just recently signing another contract with Fox News, it is apparent that Gretchen Carlson will be in the news interviewing business for sometime. Her show done with fellow anchors Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade is on daily Mondays through Fridays from 6-9 a.m. EDT. That means her day begins at 3:45 every morning. and does not end until late in the evening. Preparation for her Fox News TV show begins the afternoon before when Gretchen goes over the list of interviews planned for the next day. She then works closely with a show producer, creates blue cards with bullet points for scheduled interviews and then organizes her script on a Blackberry. Its then home to spend time with her children from 6-8 p.m. I put them to bed and then go over the list of guests and get some sleep.
